Lakewood Little League is completely run by volunteers and our Snack Shack is where our volunteers have the most impact throughout the spring season. During the spring season, each family is required to work two shifts (per player) in the snack shack. Each shift lasts approximately 2 1⁄2 hours and shifts can be completed by any responsible person over the age of 18.
Lakewood Little League uses SignUpGenius to provide available time slots for the snack shack shifts. Volunteers should utilize the link provided on the Lakewood Little League website to access these schedules and sign up for their volunteer hours. When working their shift, volunteers sign in at the snack shack to document their presence on a schedule located in a binder inside the Snack Shack.
This must be done at the time of the shift. The snack shack staff will direct volunteers in tasks that need to be completed during and before the end of all shifts. Please be courteous and give no less than 24 hours cancellation notice of any shift as well as please be on time (or 10 mins early) for your shift as you are relieving another volunteer. If you fail to arrive for your shift or contact the snack shack manager within the first 15 minutes of your scheduled time, you will forfeit that shift. Failure to follow the above mentioned guidelines will result in forfeiter of your deposit.Lakewood Little League is completely run by volunteers and our Snack Shack is where our volunteers have the most impact throughout the spring season.
